Water is mostly clear at Roaring River, you can see trout pretty good, still able to sight fish, trout are still hitting to pretty good crackle backs we're good all week, water 72 CFS, nymphing was good all week, 6X tippet is working well, I'm still using 9' leaders. Mops, mega worms, and bright colored San Juan's were good all week.

Power bait is working well, the orange/white plastic worms have been good, the natural fish oil eggs have worked all week. Black spinners were working well all week.

Marabou jigs in olive, black/yellow, tan, & white worked well this week.

Yesterday was kid’s day at Roaring River State Park. Frist off I want to Thank the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Department of Conservation, & and all the volunteers. For making kid’s day possible. It is a great Experience for kids of all ages, and everyone worked hard to make sure the kids caught fish and had a good time. There was educational Booths as well for the children and adults as well. Even Smokey the bear made an appearance.

I can’t wait until next year, Hope to see you all there.
